an autumn missive

under this aries full moon, I’m releasing, shedding through somatic embodiment of my anger, pain, + resentment. at this moon we look back on the spring Aires new moon, what energies were shifting within you then + what has changed + taken on new life? this full moon I took my energies to the soil, digging trenches + moving soil at our land for planting spring bulbs. a hope shot.

magnolia + I planted more tulips, narcissus + hyacinth at our land, adding to what was planted last year at this time, sipping tea together + sharing our dreams, a new ritual has emerged for us both. a connection with the soil, ourselves, each other + the future we are building.

aries features heavily in my chart, My Jupiter, rising, Mercury, venus and north node, I’ve often suppressed my own fire, in love, in words + in action. I’m learning to channel my sacred fire + letting it burn up what no longer serves. Aries is a cardinal fire energy + it feels like a synchronicity that the first spark is being planted at our land in the form of the electrical line being laid ready for the build to start in spring.

we are building our dreams, little step by little step, clearing patterns + paths, releasing identities no longer in sync with our dreams, and habits that hinder and do not support our work. this season asks, what can we let die with the leaves and soil for the mushrooms to transform? and what can we plant in its wake for a future harvest? what darkness can we let go to step more fully into our own light?

if we can surrender ourselves to the natural rhythms of the earth, to the movement and the cycles we can find ourselves more freed to be. if we can cultivate patience +
trust, will we be rewarded. as the veils thin + the natural world around us dies + shed, what parts of ourselves must do the same? can we trust our own cycles and rhythms?
