A Holiday Kitchen

it’s december, i cannot believe it. this year has been a busy one and these last few months have been a blur but I’m preparing myself for the holiday season with the help of the makers Ball® home Canning products. i usually love this time of year for baking, crafting holiday gifts + decor, more time indoors and more time making with our hands. orange dried garland to hang from our windows, herbal salves for gifts + spritz cookies to share are some of our favorite holiday traditions, it also means more time spent in the kitchen. this year, this season has arrived on our doorsteps, and I’m not quite ready.

one way i’m preparing my heart + home is organizing all my pantry items + displaying them on the counter + open shelving for easy access in Ball® Storage Latch Jars. And my most used holiday spices like, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves for pumpkin pies + mulled cider, tucked away in Ball® Mini jars.

to be honest, things have been a mess around my house + kitchen especially as I’ve been recipe testing and photographing for my book. with the first draft submitted, I’m looking forward to truly slowing down this winter season + finding intention in what i’m cooking + crafting for family and friends. Having an organized kitchen space is helping me take a breath. It feels like a little holiday gift to myself. how do you prepare + support yourself in this busy season?
